First Vice President Michael Wygant

MICHAEL WYGANT, 1991, First Vice President. Mike had a 31 year career in the US Foreign Service, with assignments in three African countries, South Vietnam, the USSR, and Australia. He was the first American ambassador to the newly independent Federated States of Micronesia. Since moving to Maine in late 1990 he has worked as a re-hired annuitant for the State Department in Central Asia, and has held a number of positions with the Vienna-based Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, serving in the ex-USSR, Slovakia, and ex-Yugoslavia.
