Aserela’s Celebration for the Children
The 2012 Celebration for the Children was held on May 12th.
Every year Aserela has a large community dinner to fundraise for the Nyolo Hope Primary School project. Typically attended by many from the Sudanese and African community, as well as the greater Portland area, the “Celebration for the Children” provides good food, traditional South Sudanese dancing, music and educational awareness of the progress in Kit, South Sudan.
