The World Affairs Council of Maine is a nonprofit and nonpartisan educational organization. It is Maine's preeminent public forum and resource for understanding, analyzing, and debating international issues.

WorldQuest 2012 was a success and we have a winner!  Greely High School's team, with members
Robert Potts, Hanna Willwerth and Ian Philbrick, took top honors at the event on February 1st, winning both
the high school and overall champion categories!  Congratulations to Robert, Hanna and Ian, and to their
coach Jason Curry, a social studies teacher at Greely.  Bernstein Shur's team won second place.
Thanks to the 24 teams that competed, representing 8 high schools and 7 other organizations.
